IdeaMensch recently conducted an extensive interview with noted Ohio real estate mogul Tammy Mazzocco. When asked on how it came about that she went into real estate, she said that it happened by itself. A manager she worked with was also a real estate agent, and she was encouraged to get a license in 1995. She said she really found a passion in it.
She starts the day with a little meditation and stretching, and if possible, she likes getting the important stuff done first before reading any Facebook messages and emails. She also does not do the stuff she does not enjoy, such as cold calling. This way, she can work every day with a newfound passion. She says she likes lead companies that bring in live leads that she can talk with over the phone or even meet face to face. This way, she is more likely to bring in sales. One method of achieving success is how she sets goals and then breaks them down into actionable steps. For example, she will set a goal, and then make action steps for what she needs to do each day and week.
Tammy Mazzocco began her real estate career at the Edwards Realty Company as a secretary. Under the leadership of Mike Zelnik, she worked on commercial real estate deals with nine other commercial real estate agents. She worked at Scotland Yard Condominiums for seven years and managed condominiums. Her manager there, Ken Cook, was the one who encouraged her to get her real estate license.
Next, Tammy Mazzocco worked at T&R Properties. She managed multiple properties, including an office complex and two housing complexes. Then she became a licensed personal assistant for RE/MAX (http://www.remax.com/realestateagentoffice/pickerington-oh-43147-tammymazzocco-id29953112.html) producer, Joe Armeni. In 2000, she took her real estate full time by joining the team at Judy Gang & Associates in Pickerington, Ohio. Tammy Mazzocco now sells real estate in areas in Central Ohio.
